Business is booming for self-confessed geek James Hall who is celebrating his web company, HeX Productions first birthday this week after a highly successful year.
The Beeston-based company has gone from strength to strength since opened up for full-time business in September 2014 and now boasts a rapidly growing client list including Together, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottingham City Homes, Think Feel Do and Oxjam to name a few. It even got an early birthday present last month when it opened its first office in Ilkeston.
With over ten years experience in the public sector web industry, James first set up HeX in 2010 as a freelance project in his spare time, before finally taking the plunge, leaving his job and turning HeX into a full time business last year.
James is well known in the local area, not only for his web skills but as an important member of the Beeston community working on projects including creating a local cinema at the White Lion Bar & Kitchen, launching the successful Beeston Film Festival which returns for its second year in February 2016 and plays a key role in Beeston Oxjam and Creative Beeston.
He said:
“I’m completely overwhelmed by the success of HeX in its first year and whether it’s been working with new clients on improving their web presence to help grow their business or supporting existing customers with their daily web needs, I am very proud of what we have achieved so far.”
“It’s been a rollercoaster year for me both professionally and personally, taking HeX full time, planning a wedding and getting married and supporting my local community on projects like the Beeston Film Festival but I look forward to coming to work every single day to take on a new challenge.”
HeX Productions offer a wide range of web services including web design and development, website maintenance, project support, advice and consultation and free website checks.
James is passionate about all things web from working on small independent projects to large local government sites and developing mobile and social strategies to enable easy access to information the move.
