We have recently developed the entire branding and website for new business venture, Matter UK.
Who are Matter UK?
Based in Nottingham, the company provide training courses to professionals who will be working with vulnerable children and young people.
What do they do?
Their aim is to raise awareness and improve professional practice in the child health and social care sector, by running courses that include Positive Behaviour Support, Therapeutic Approaches to working compassionately with children in care, Reflective Practice, Safeguarding, and working with young people who present with Harmful Sexual Behaviour or have had experiences of Child Sexual Exploitation.
Our involvement
We were approached by the team to help them prepare. They had no branding, no logo, and no promotional material. With a tight deadline approaching for a conference they were attending, we needed to pull out all the stops and design business cards, a brochure, and a website.
Take a look at what we did:
The final matter logo was produced around the image of the little girl blowing the dandelion, something we believed could be the an emotive symbol to flow throughout their branding. We then worked this into business cards, brochures, presentation slides, letterheads and more.
We then got to start on building a whole new website from scratch. Keeping in line with the branded colours and logo, we created numerous features on the website, this includes a team members page which details a bit of background about the people who work at Matter UK. We also created a page where all the training courses can be browsed through, when clicked on, an extended description of the training course is displayed. On the contact us page, we incorporated a contact form so that users of the website can get in touch with questions or feedback, and a separate form to encourage visitors to sign up to the Matter UK newsletter.
As part of Matter’s launch, we were able to fully incorporate the client’s wish into the website and make it something for ourselves and them to be proud of. James, Creative Director of HeX said: “We were able to get things organised and moving quickly, in the end we managed to deliver all of the branding and supporting material in a short space of time. The team worked really well together, making sure that their areas of involvement were well managed and reflected the branding effectively.
“The client’s purpose and mission was something we really wanted to get involved and help out with. All of the team at Matter were really reliable and organised when it came to getting information across to us. It really is a dream partnership.”
We continue to support the efforts of the Matter team through social media and blog production. Raising awareness and promoting the training courses.
